PROVENCE GARDENER
MY STORY
Hello! Bonjour! My name is David and I started Provence Gardener as a way to share my garden passion. When I first travelled to Provence with my husband 17 years ago, we both fell in love with the mediterranean climate, the flora and fauna, and of course the food and wine. Fast forward several years and we made that dream a reality by purchasing a 200-year-old farmhouse in the middle of Provence surrounded by vineyards and olive orchards.
The property sits on 20 acres (8 hectares) of land which is a mixture of forest, olives, open fields and gardens! The gardens need a lot of attention as they were not cared for during the past 20 years. You can imagine what fun I have each day restoring the old gardens and creating new ones.
I am not a professional, just an avid enthusiast. My mother was a Master Gardener back in the USA and taught me much of what I know. I learn by talking to professionals and like minded hobbyists
-- and of course by trial and error.
My goal is to encourage you to learn, try or just get inspired, while I provide tips, tricks and ideas to help you along the way. Oh, and be sure to like, comment on and follow my instagram—it is fun to meet people who share my enthusiasm.
I hope you’ll join the Provence Gardener community.

Cheers,
David
